If you look around you’ll see many deals for the current Nintendo DS Lite - could this be a subtle move to shift current stock to make room for the new one?

The new DS looks crazy, but I feel left behind like when the Nintendo SP was announced.

I’m just going to be holding back on the whole upgrade craze, and stick with my Pink DS Lite and my 2GB MP3 :)
